Dr. Beaty has practiced medicine in Atlanta since 1998. She founded Alliance Primary Care in 2005. Dr. Beaty obtained her Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Murray State University with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. She received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1995. She completed a three year residency in Family Medicine at the University of Iowa where she served as chief resident. She maintains board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine, and is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Kimberly completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Clemson University. She completed her Master of Science degree at Georgia State University, specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner studies. As an RN, she worked at Emory University hospital with general medical-surgical adult patients for two years. She has also worked for Childrenís Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit. She maintains certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Pamela completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and a diploma in nursing from Ryerson University. She received a Masters of Science in Nursing and a Masters in Public Health from Emory University. Her focus in graduate studies was in both family practice and psycho-social nursing. Her public health specialty was in health policy and administration. She worked as a nurse practitioner at Grady's Infectious Disease Clinic for eleven years before joining the staff at Alliance Primary Care. She is certified through the American Academy of HIV Medicine as an HIV specialist. As an RN, she worked in cardiac and medical intensive care units in Toronto, Ontario, Greenwich,CT and Boston, MA. Her advanced practice credentialing is maintained through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Terry is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian as well as a Certified Clinical Nutritionist. Her 40 years of continued education and experience provide her with the skill of blending conventional and alternative nutrition therapies in her effort to guide clients toward better health. In a climate of ever-changing and often conflicting nutritional information, Terry offers an evidence-based, customized approach to educating and motivating patients.
Angela holds a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling and an undergraduate degree in psychology and sociology from Georgia State University. She completed her masterís level internship at a U.S. Army Mental Health Center, working with soldiers and their families. Since beginning her psychotherapy practice in 2001, Angela has focused extensively on sex therapy for the individual or couple and on the emotional needs of infertility patients. She is a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).
Jennifer graduated with a degree in Biology from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN in 1989 and with honors in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee, Memphis in 1993. She is an active member of the Womenís Health Section of the American Physical Therapy Association, the American Urogynecological Society, the International Pelvic Pain Society, the National Vulvodynia Association, and the Interstitial Cystitis Association. Jennifer specializes in womenís health issues, including various types of pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and painful intercourse.
