Bio

Danielle Hawkins, APRN, FNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Alliance Primary Care in Princeton and McKinney, Texas. She takes a collaborative approach, empowering her patients to take an active role in their own health decision-making process.

While earning her Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), Danielle served her country as a medic with the United States Air Force (USAF). After finishing her degree, she worked as a nurse for the US Army. 

Danielle continued her nursing education, earning her Master of Science in nursing at Maryville University of St. Louis in Town and Country, Missouri. Currently, Danielle is a Doctor of Nursing Practice candidate at the Texas Women’s University in Dallas, completing a capstone project on improving health equity and social determinants of health.

Dedicated to her profession, Danielle is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the North Texas Nurse Practitioners (NTNP), and the Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP). She’s also the legislative ambassador for TNP.

Danielle has worked in many areas of nursing care and has experience in chronic disease management, functional medicine, and women’s health.

Outside of patient care, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan, their four kids, and three cats. She also likes hiking, yoga, and listening to live music.
